The interdisciplinary nature of modern biological research provides many exciting opportunities for postdoctorals, graduate students and undergraduates to participate in projects involving faculty in Microbiology and others in Colleges and Departments across campus. While each Microbiology research lab has their own collaborative research efforts, there are training programs on campus that provide fellowship opportunities, degree majors or minors, seminars, symposia and other avenues for interdisciplinary research and graduate education.
